Solution Focussed Therapy
Solution focused therapy was the original strengths based model and remains the most well established and tested. This course looks at supporting clients through change based on the identification and development of their own personal resources. It challenges many core assumption in talking cures by looking at the resourcefulness of clients and not their problems. Besides practical experience of utilising the 5 core skills of BSFT, the course will also provide additional support when clients are unable to recognise their resources and how to find goals with clients who did not want to speak to you in the first place.
