Many, many years ago I read a book called Cities of Dreams by Stan Gooch. In it he suggested that modern day humans were the product of inter-breeding with Neanderthals. The idea was met with much eye-rolling from my friends when I shared this thesis and my enthusiasm of the book with them. But recent genetic studies have found it to be true. How Neanderthal are you?
