KASPR framework and website now live

I wanted to share a piece of work that has been developing over the past year.

KASPR (Ketamine Assessment, Screening & Progression Risk) has been designed in response to a growing gap between how ketamine-related harm presents, and how current treatment models are structured to respond.

It is not simply an assessment tool, but a structured, integrated framework, including:

– identification of emerging harm through sentinel symptoms– a model to organise clinical understanding (Exposure, Drivers, Harm)– a suite of ketamine-specific psychological interventions– and a four-tier treatment pathway to support proportionate response

The aim is to support a different way of working — one that recognises progression, variation, and complexity, and enables earlier and more targeted intervention.

The website is now live:https://www.kaspr.online

(Some NHS systems may restrict access to new websites. If needed, please try accessing it outside your network.)

I’d be very interested in any feedback, particularly from those working in substance use, mental health, or related services.

Please feel free to share with colleagues who may find it relevant.

Best wishes,Phil
